I don't know if this is a usable mold or just an interesting decoration. All I know is that it probably took quite a bit of work/craftsmanship to make. I don't remember when/where I got it but think I've had it for over 40 years and it wasn't new when I got it. 10"L x 3&15/16ths"W x 1.5"D. It feels like a fairly dense/heavy wood - I'm only sure it's not cedar. For some reason I want to say it's Olive wood, but haven't a clue why I feel that way. Maybe oak? Please leave message. Bill
